I built a computer for a customer and I decided to try a Gigabyte motherboard instead of my usual choice of Abit. I ordered a Athlon XP 2800 to go with it and it's set at 1250mhz right now. I went into the BIOS and looked around for the option to change the processor speed and its not there like it is on most motheboards BIOS's.

I did upgrade the BIOS with the "windows utility" that came with the motherboard CD, but still no luck.

    Any help is appreciated.

There's probably a little dip switch or a jumper on the board itself that specifies 100mhz fsb or 133mhz fsb. You need to turn the system off, and switch it to 133.
