How to change drive letters?

    You go to the c prompt and type:

    d:

    or

    e:

    or any other letter.

    You see the reason I responded like that was because you didn't tell us what you are trying to do specifically.

    depends on your OS. here is how to do it in windows 2000:

    go to start menu->programs->administrative tools->computer management

    select "disk management" from the "storage" section.

    a list of drives will show. right click on desired drive to change. choose "change drive letter and path". change letter. done.

    please note that you cannot change the system drive letter (usually C: )
