aren't the seeds healthier than the oil? i read that somewhere
although right now i feel that i'm going to get some because this shit is too nasty. does it have the same fiber/fats?
not for me....maybe i'm grinding mine into a finer powder than yours
the milled ones already come grinded....unless you do more of it? what do you use?
and i just found out that i have to keep the bag in the fridge after opening it. i've had the bag for a couple days now....i think i may need to get a new one or something
Put in in anything... Burger patties, muffins, pancakes, eggs, shakes (vanilla+cinnamon+flaxmeal is pretty good), etc. It goes in almost anything involving "mixing". In almost any recipe I replace half of the flour with flaxmeal.
well, i mean...on a low carb diet, i can't really be using that good stuff
You shouldn't buy them already grounded. When grounded, they tend to oxydize fast and they kinda lose their use.
Put it in eggs or try to find a hot cereal recipe that uses flaxmeal, it's nice when you miss oats.
I buy flaxseeds and grind them right before i use them. If they're already grinded they might be rancid.
all i could find was milled
so i'm guessing you use a grinder? and where did you get the whole flax seeds?
Yeah i got a coffee grinder from Wal Mart. And i got them at Publix.
i guess i'll get it all tonight. and do you just add that to they whey shake?
water+flax+whey....sounds kinda gross still. i should mix some honey or something
why not just use fish oil caps for your EFAs?
i already have em. the flax seeds is for the fiber

my wife is on the south beach diet and made some great muffins with flax seed in them. had apple in there too. Looked kinda funky with the flax seeds, but they tasted
this had to have been it:
mix in with oatmeal
put it on yogurt, adds a cool texture.
