How the f do I fix this? Outdated Apple Preview software?

    I get the following error when I try to open an image. i dont know where to get a more recent version of Preview and it's set as my default to quickly open images, pdfs, etc. anyone know how to correct? thanks

    how the hell did you do that? i was about to upload my preview for you but its still like 20 meg zipped. :hs:

    Do you have an older version of Mac OS X on a different partition?

    I'm sorry but that is a shitty error for an OS that prides itself on being easy to use.

    So I used 'Just works', big deal. It's not trolling.

    It's an unacceptable error with the OS, and I will come in here and say it if I want to. I was unaware this forum was called 'praise Apple or die'.

    I was trying to get someone to upload the preview from 10.0 or 10.1 a year or so ago. :o

    it can print .pdfs that are locked :mamoru:

    i tried this as well as the download you had posted. neither worked. also, i just noticed the same problem with DVD Player

    these issues started when i installed snow leopard.

    dunno, sounds like a pretty fail upgrade.. i'd be thinking time for a reinstall

    never upgrade an OS...
    format and clean install every time...

    so many variables when doing an upgrade...
    the time you save by upgrading is defeated by all the problems down the road...
