I'm at the train station in line to get my ticket and this guy that looks homeless comes up to me. He says hes a vet and is trying to get a ticket to go home. He shows me a card saying he is a veteran or whatever, it looked pretty official, I've never seen one before so I dunno if it's fake. I was in a rush so I gave him a couple bucks. If he was really a vet I wouldn't feel bad. He said he was in the Navy and was logistics. I had my a-bag on me and he called it that and he knew what ROTC was and everything about it. What would you have done in that situtation?

Getting a real job it is, but i see shit all the time around here for even sign twirlers making $9/hr cash. Do that for a little bit, save up some money, get a roommate, get a job, cycle is broken.

It isn't the capability, it is the mindset.

When someone bugs and pan handles, I dont really fork it out. Except right after I took my ASVAB the night before MEPS processing, this dude in a wheel chair with one leg asked for $1. I gave him $10 and told him to get a forty or a couple tall cans.

POOR looking dude in Berlin got on the transit with a ripped and strewn together guitar case that barely kept it in the case. It was literally falling apart, so I handed him $20 Euros and told him to buy a new guitar case. Doubt he did, but I tried.

Dunno why people are stingy, I never have been and never will. If you need a dollar and I have a few, I'll give you a couple.
