how should i split up my protein shakes

    right now on work out days ive been taking 3/4 scoop of whey before work out, and then 1.75 scoops after workout. every night i take a scoop of casein. on non work out days i take 1 scoop whey sometime around lunch time, another scoop sometiem before dinner, and then the casein before bed.

    should i change this? i was thinking on non work out days 1 scoop casein in morning, 1 scoop whey durign the day, then 1 scoop casein at night. should i add a scoop of casein in the morning during workout days as well? that would be almost 4 scoops of protein on my workout days...each scoop is 24 g.

    Dude there's people drinking 3+ shakes a day @ 2 scoops per shake.

    Do whatever the fuck you want / need to reach your goals.

    aight guess ill just take it in the morning then too...cuz right now all of my shakes are in the afternoon/evening. so i wanted to spread it out more evenly.

    3-4 before your workout? oi. I couldn't workout with that much in my stomach

    like jmezz said, do what you need to do to reach your macro goal for the day, though its better through whole foods

    but it would be good to get casein in the morning so i slowly digest it throughout the day yeah? im not worried about protein amount...just about optimal absorption throughotu the day.

    i personally stopped drinking that many.

    only time i ALWAYS seem to have one is before bed. i end up drinking one post workout 3-4 days/week, in the mornings i prefer a big breakfast unless im in a time predicament or something.

    I used to be, now I only have 2 scoops in the morning and 1 scoop PWO

    up to 3 shakes a day, usually 2 (wake up and post workout)

    i usually drink 3 shakes/day... 2 scoops/shake

    i think i should cut down

    I have a scoop of whey in the morning while I cook my eggs and toast. If I don't have time for breakfast, I have a couple scoops of mass meal with milk and some mixed nuts or something.

    Other than that I just use whey for PWO and when I'm too lazy or time-constricted to cook chicken or ground turkey. I almost never have more than 2 shakes a day, not out of principle or anything just cause I prefer real food.
