Just to give some background. I just installed an Alpine 7894 headunit. I am using the internal amp to power the front and rear speakers. As for the subs, I am running an Alpine M300 amp to power 2 alpine type S 10's. I did the installation myself, but I suck at the tuning. My question is this, what level should I set the H/U LPF and the corresponding LPF on the amp? I'd like to get a little bit more bass. Thanks for your input.

I would just keep the headunit filter in the OFF position, and set the amplifier crossover to between 80 to 100hz.
