I was messing around a little while ago and happened to take this picture, which I kind of liked. Do you think I should crop it in anyway or leave it. ......Or is it not worth it? Any suggestions to make it better would be appreciated. :wiggle:

I know people stress the rule of thirds, but that doesn't apply to all photos. This photo would look cool if it was perfectly centered and the top of the guitar was at the top of the picture.

crop it so both sides are perfectly aligned, with a little bit of dead space, and it will still look great.

I agree. Crop it so that it is centered... this is one instance where you don't want it off center.

If the photo was taken so the proportions were in the center it would be great.

    but it isn't.

it is off to the side. Cropping can't fix that, retake the photo so that it is perfectly proportioned in the center.

edit: you could tilt and crop it and it would be in the center, but it would look strange as the photo would be skinny now.

I understand what you were saying. I'll just need to rig it up in a way that I can actually look through the viewfinder when I take the picture. That one was taken with me just placing the camera along the neck and trying to guesstimate where the nut was on the fretboard.
