..to take this current break and eat regularly for the next 2 weeks, more or less watching what I eat, and then continue a cut? I still do not feel lean enough for a clean bulk :/

I personally wouldn't do it, because it's just going to lag the end result. I always used to find excuses to stop working out for a little bit, whether for a trip or a tv show or whatever, but now I plan my day around going to the gym, but that's beyond the point. I would recommend keeping up what you're doing if you're getting some decent results.

well that's the thing. i was on a cut for a long time and i just ended it last week. no motivation to go for it any longer, plus i lost a good amount of body fat. the idea was to take this little break for spring break, then hit the gym again and do a clean bulk...but i dont know if i should just continue cutting and then have a "cleaner" slate to bulk on

If you make sure you get back into it after a week you will be ok.

You are supposed to take breaks at time, let your body rest up a bit, plus it does wonders for your attitude in the gym.

I guess I will, what you call, "maintain" right now. Take a break from the low-carb food. The motivation is just not there as it used to be. I'll see how I feel after spring break

it makes perfect sense to eat at maintenance for two weeks, regardless of what you decide to do afterwards.

I know how you feel, 5'9 and went from 190-->168 since about february and these past weeks have been hell, got sick, exams, etc. Still no ab definition but i've got a flat stomach now. I'm just not motivated at all.

I'm wondering whether I should continue my cut or not... i feel i'd have to be about 155-160 to have full six pack definition.

I was just thinking, I am starting my cut here on Sunday, I will have to take a break in 2 months when I go on a cruise and then just pick it back up when I get back. I think it will be good to do that though, since it wont be a straight 4 month cut, there will be a break in there.
