and how many rounds do you shoot?

I make it a goal of mine to go atleast once a week, but i've been slacking the past few months because of traveling. Usually I shoot between 150-200rds. of 9mm, 50rds. of .45acp and whenever I get the chance I shoot my 10/22 and 870. I also like to keep track of my range time, I don't know why, but I figure it can't hurt.

Heres a screen shot of my spreadsheet:

I go once a month and when I go I usually fire off 800-1200 rounds or so. Most of which is .22lr

i go to the range every couple of months, but that's because the range is about an hour away. the range here on campus, maybe once a month. when i get a pistol the range time will increase, only shooting rifles as of right now.

I go usually 2-3 times a week, and I shoot anywhere from 50-500 rounds of 9mm depending on what drills I'm working on at the time. I take the 870 out once a month atleast, more if we're doing shotgun drills, and put 75-100 rounds of birdshot and atleast 25 of 3" magnum 00 buck.

No AR yet, but soon enough.

Depends. Sometimes I get out there a lot and sometimes I don't. Try to head out a couple times a month.

Usually shoot around 300 rounds of 9mm and a lot of .22lr

I've been keeping track of when and how much I shoot in a notebook but I've been meaning to make up a spreadsheet.

I'm trying to go about once a week, but even shooting mostly 9mm is killing me price wise, I think I really need to get a .22, I just can't spend $50 a week going to the range.

lately I been going to the indoor range weekly, so only been bringing handguns for the most part 9mm ar occasionally, I usually put about 2 boxes through each gun, so hundred 9mm, 40, 45, if I bring the 9mm AR add another 150ish 9mm rounds.

    Word.

The thing that kills me is that I have like 5 other hobbies. I'm trying to quit a few and sell off shit that goes with these hobbies, just so I can buy more guns/ammo. :bigthumb:

You must live close to your range.

I'd love to be able to head out there at the end of the day and pop off 100 rounds or so but it's a 45 min drive each way.

The local indoor range I would join wants $250 a year now and only brass cased ammo... Even with a membership each visit would be $12-$20 :wtc:

That's pretty shitty.... I live ~2 miles from my favorite range, and I rarely pay to shoot there, unless I"m shooting with friends, or when I'm taking training courses there.

The 45 min away range is a club. Pay a yearly membership and we get a gate code and unlimited access. It's a good deal and I'm usually the only person there. Sometimes on weekends there is another person but rarely on the pistol range. They also have a 600 yard range.

Nearest rifle range is a good hour away for me. Spring break next week = all day at the range ftw!

the outdoor range I belong to is about 5 minutes from my house. $30 a year, and the gun shop is on the way.

I couldnt ask for a better setup.

I'd go all the time if it didn't cost $15. They only allow brass at my range, too. I can get a yearly membership for $150 but I only get 15 free trips with that. If I use all the trips inside of a year, though, I can still get in for $12 a day. I want to find a nearby range that does unlimited yearly memberships but most of those have huge waiting lists :wtc:. Popping off 100 rounds every day on the way home from work > Saving up 500-1000 to make a day of it.

i usually go at least once a week...twice is better but once a week makes me happy....100 rounds of 9mm (accuracy practice, not blasting away aimlessly) and as many rounds of .22 as i can possibly stomach in one day :)

i have a .45 but its been gathering dust because frankly i dont have the money to feed that beast right now :wtc:
