how noticeable is the difference between the 2ghz and 2.4 ghz?

    sorry if this has been asked before, i've been a pc user all my life an i'm thinking about switching to the new aluminim macs


    i'm thinking about getting the refurbished ones but is the extra .4 ghz $300 more?:wiggle:

    and does anyone know if the student discount works for the refurbished macs? cause i doesnt seem to make a differnece in the price

    It probably depends on what you'll be using it for. If you mainly just surf the web, do word processing, email, etc. it's probably not worth it. But if you're doing video editing, heavy Photoshop work, gaming, etc. there probably will be a noticeable difference.

    Maybe if you can't type properly. I wouldn't pay $5 for it.

    bullshit. who wouldnt pay $5 for that. $50 maybe, maybe not. $5 is black and white.
