I offloaded about ~1.3k of dirty range brass collected from 3 trips to the range. Mixed headstamps, uncleaned spent primers, $75 shipped.

I'd say you can get $50-60 per thousand.

Gun range I go to doesnt care if I take the brass. Take 2-3 5gallon buckets full of brass home a week, sort them, and tumble them

Indoor so really the only thing you have to look for is completely stepped on brass or cracked cases.

I can sort roughly 2 5gal pales in an hr

But on a side note it really just covers my shooting costs :o And thats only handgun brass

Do you ever get any BIG handgun brass? I'm always in the market for 460S&W, 50AE, 454Casull, and possibly 44mag.

Nope, gun range doesnt allow 44mag plus. Gets backstop penetration
