Have someone who is looking to unload the following, curious what I should pay.

D70 body (with strap, body cap, eyepiece cap, LCD monitor cover, USB and A/V cables, rechargeable lithium-ion battery (EN-EL3), battery charger (MH-18), CR2 battery holder (MS-D70), and Picture Project CD-ROM)

    Nikkor AF 35-70mm lens

    Nikkor AF 70-210mm lens

    Nikon Speedlight SB-22

    Pelican Hard Case

I'm trying to find more info on the lenses (and find out why the 18-70mm kit lens isn't offered). Are those lenses any good? What would you pay for the entire setup?

Turns out he bought just the body, hence the no 18-70mm. The other two lenses he used with another camera. He offered me the entire setup for $675 shipped, and I think I'm going to take him up on it. *scared*

    Here goes nothing!

Yeah, I read a review that says it won't even really work with dslr's...but shit, I'm a year away from even knowing how to use a hotshoe flash effectively.

So far so good, just sent payment. Should have it by the end of next week.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of either the 35-70 or the 70-210. You would really be better off buying the kit, selling both lenses, and getting the kit lens and have some change left over.

When was the camera bought, how many acutations? Firmware upgraded?

even if you got the body itself for $675, it would still be a good deal.

I'm looking into selling the 35-70mm and getting the kit lens. Gotta see how the money exchange will work, not sure how much the 35-70 is worth. I might keep the zoom only because it'll be years before I can afford good zoom glass, so it might not be bad to have something...

And no, non-upgraded firmware, but that's what i do for a living...and the cam was purchased in 2004 for a digital photography class, and not used much since. We'll see I guess...should have it by week's end.
