I love my 1990 240sx coupe, it runs great, handles great, needs new tires, and a bit of a paint job.

There are a lot of things i want to do to my car (ie: suspension, good tires, sound system, other stuff).

Only problem is it's automatic. How much money/work/time do you think it woudl take to get it manual swapped?

I really can't think of any other cars that i would rather drive right now under $20k

It's fairly common since alot of people do it when swapping in SR's and other motors with manual trans. Read up on the nissan boards.

    tranny - $200
    pedal assy - $50
    ecu - $50
do the work yourself - priceless

    thats a rough estimate.

why not just sell your 240 and buy a manual? are they still hard to find? i thought the "drifting craze" was over now, and that was when people would sell 240's for like crazy money.

a manual 240 is not hard to find at all. You just have to know where to look.

i thought the ecu's were interchangable, its just the auto doesnt have the rev limiter.

you don't need to swap out ecu's on an s13.

i did mine in a weekend with the help of one friend. very simple procedure.

    do the research.
