How much weight can you loose in a week?

    Healthy of course no cocaine use or anything lol. I'd like to loose like 10 pounds a week but is it safe to do and how do I do that? Should I give up weightlifting for a while and just do cardio? Any supplements?

    Sorry, it's recommended you don't lose more than 2 to 2.5 pounds a week while overweight, otherwise you'll see some good muscle loss and in a lot of cases nutrition deficiency (if you don't know what the hell you're doing).

    LOL? is 10 pounds a week even possible? can you even do that if you were anorexic?

    go with blackice 2-2.5 pounds is good, you could push 3 i guess, but good luck losing that much weight a week, what are you palnning to do?

    if you cut calories and jog and lift weights (to increase muscles which increases metabolism) and eat at regular intervals (Again to increase metabolism) then you should be happy with 2 pounds a week

    any supplements that will help. I always loose but it comes back again. I hate cardio but I saw a cool exercise bike at sports authority for 200bucks

    counting water weights, its possible to lose 10 in a week

    just dont eat anything and sweat what little water you have out before the weighin

    Well yeah, I lost 10 pounds in 2 days but that's because I cut water for something. But you cannot do this consistently, and it's not actually losing fat.

    We are not here to disrespect you, MudRacer, but it doesn't seem like you have realistic goals you're going to stick to. Make this section of OT your homepage, read the stickies and posts, and you'll find some knowledge and motivation to do something good.

    Put it this way... weight doesn't come off, you take it off. So what are YOU going to do to get rid of it?

    If you don't start now, you never will.

    I"ve lost 49 in 13 weeks so far....I'm dieting and excercise. I was at 338lbs so I had lots to lose so it came off faster int eh beginning. I was seeing 6 pounds a week just dieting and working out. I was eating too, not starving myself. But now after 13 weeks I'm 289 and losing 2-3 weeks doing the same thing i was doing before. I doubt you will see 10lbs/week after hte first week.
