Recently, we were approached by a adult site interested in putting ads on a section of our site.

On our site we have a "sexy women" section that currently only has a couple affiliate ads on it. It's against Google's TOS to have their ads in there so we don't have any adsense (our main money earner) in there. So we're open to fill that void with something relevant.

So how do I go about choosing a price? How do adult ads compare to normal ads in general?

Hypothetically, if the site was pulling in $1000 a month and the Sexy section gets 15% of the traffic that the homepage does, what would you charge?

Factors that I'm taking into consideration here:
XXX ads on the site is a line that we have yet to step over
Google is not the middleman here taking a cut
Our site is VERY relevant to their niche. (Mobile phone site. they're catering to adult content on mobile phones :mamoru:)

    but seriously,

whats the duration they want? 1 week? 1 month?, etc.

where would the ad be located on your website?

how big would the ad be?

Not sure how long they want, will ask.

We have a leaderboard, skyscraper, and square ad slot. We could probably do all 3 but it depends on what the ads look like, I guess. Don't want to go overboard.

What is the standard practice when it comes to things like this? Do they just ask me for a quote and I fire something out there? Is there any bargaining? I need to learn how to work without a structure like Google or CJ...
