So I've been strongly contemplating selling my Remington 700 SPS Tactical (223) to fund an AR build I have in mind, but to be honest with this crazy market I have no idea what I should sell it for. It's in excellent condition since I'm absolutely OCD about anything and everything I own. It only has about 120 rounds through it and has a simple Bushnell 4-14x40 scope with Leupold rings and I forgot the make of the bipod. I'll include a plastic case for it and a cleaning kit for it as well.

I should add that 120 rounds is an estimate, I say +- 15 rounds of that is a good estimate.

    Thanks!

I really like it but for some reason I feel compelled to build something of my own to my own specs, plenty of people that I know are obsessed with AR's and it is just bugging the hell out of me that I don't have one (just like a ton of other people lol).

Eventually I'm looking to build a custom bolt rifle but in a much bigger caliber, probably .300 or .308

I wish here in NJ they'd let me build a beast like this (found it from the rifle thread)

How much would you take for just the barreled action with trigger and magbox/bottom metal?

I'd prefer to sell it as a whole, otherwise I'll be incredibly tempted to invest more into it before completing an AR.

I would ask $700 if it was mine

but I wouldn't pay more than $650 for it if I was buying

ohh and I have both the .223 and .308 in the same rifle

I've been contemplating $630 + Shipping, after looking on Gunbroker does that sound like a fair deal?

Now I understand that it should be sent directly to an FFL, is it required that it the shipping is overnight just like a handgun or not really?

You can ship it ground from UPS or FedEX. Handguns are the only oens that have to go air.
