This guy owns this design studio and would like some shots. He wants me to take about 30 shots total. He wants some shots of his studio setup.. some shots of some of his work on the walls, and some shots of some of the apparel that he's selling/advertising or whatever. He said it would take about a whole day to shoot.. so what do you all suggest I charge him.. for a whole day of shooting and about 30 'good' shots.

if it's a whole day, then charge him your desired hourly rate x 8

    i.e.

    $30 / hr = $240
    $45 / hr = $360
    $60 / hr = $480

figure out what you think your time is worth and go from there. Add a half a day to go through the photos and choose the keepers. Then charge another half day to do post processing and burn them to a CD. 2 days total :dunno:

    He want exclusive rights foreeeeverrrrrrrr?

A couple grand...your description sounds vague, what you describe wouldn't take 8 hours imo- which leads me to think there is more to it.
