How much is too much? and lets say you max out in one meal...how soon can you reload?

I've heard roughly 40 grams every 2-2.5 hours.... but I cant back it up. Any protein your body cant process will be expelled as waste though.
how ever much you want to consume at that time.
this is like asking.. how much water will fill my bladder to 25% capacity.
Think about this bro. When we were running around in loin clothes, living in caves and eating woolly mammoth BBQ do you think we would stop at X amt of protein? Fuck no, you'd gorge yourself on that delicious dead animal carcass because you didn't know when the next one was coming.

ON pro-complex has 60g in one serving -- ive been pounding that stuff post-workout because i don't like protein supplements, so im getting 60g's in like...5 seconds. ?
I think the original post was a good question. Can we get some more real answers. I have heard you can't use anything more than 30g unless its isolate and then u can utilize 60-70, but this is all info off of the tubs of protein, so is definitely in question. Definitely heard people on here who i trust more than a gnc product claim you can utilize way more.

the number is unknown and will never be known.
but the number is MUCH higher than people in the "bodybuilding" or conventional nutrition world think it is. if it wasn't we wouldn't be here. that doesn't mean eat 300g protein in a sitting.. but the people who say you can only absorb 40g or something per meal are just wrong.

I also think what you do will reflect your body's ability to utilize the protein.
Someone who sits on their ass all day and is relatively inactive might only be able to utilize 30-40g of protein (per meal or ever several hours) before their body starts to turn any protein in excess of that amount to fat.
Someone who trains several hours a week and has a body that is in repair/rebuild mode most of the time could likely utilize a far greater amount.
I don't have anything to back this up, but it makes sense to me and just my opinion at the moment.
