Just bought a bike and was wondering how much everyone pays for insurance and with who?
130/month for a ZX6.. My driving record is shit, should go down in December.
Clean driving record, $370 a year for full coverage with Geico.
$91 a month for my 04 R6, with Metlife ins.
what kind of bike.
I would like to know also, I got a quote from geico and my insurance is pretty high. Something like 1.3K a year.
My bike is a 2003 BMW F650cs. My record is pretty clean, just one ticket for an improper turn and nothing else. I thought insurance for bikes would be cheap.
Oh well... would like to hear from others so I can shop around.
130/year liability from mcgraw/pacific specialties on a 92 honda cbr f2. perfect driving record.
20yrs old, 1st bike, clean record, usaa
400/yr full coverage - ninja 250r
your age and years licensed has the most to do with insurance costs, especially on a sportbike.
i'm 28, clean record, m/c endorsement since 1994, 04 ZX-6R, $287/yr full coverage from Progressive
20 y/o male with no tickets 650/year

25 YO male, clean record
$60 a month full coverage, 26/M/Rhode Island clean record. 04 Yamaha FZ6
550 from progressive with 1 ticket, comp+lia, plus a 500 deduct i think..
and im 20
so i was happy..for a 96 zx6
Not bad. I'm curious what my shitty (but recently cleaned, all tickets 4+ years old) record will bring..
