for some reason on days I lift I have to sleep for at least 8 hours or I am dead tired the next day. I used to be fine with 6 hrs/night but ever since I have been working out I need 8, and if I don't set an alarm I will sleep for 10+

Does any body else experience this?

If I don't get 8 hours every night I will spend the next day dragging

After my leg days I usually crash for an hour or so on the recliner. Unfortunately my schedule rarely lets me get 8 solid hours.
