The pull up thread reminded me of this. I find Lat Pulldowns to be the weakest exercise for me as it hasnt increased over the years as much as my big lifts and my rows(cg cable, db, bb)

    Currently I'm doing

    100x12(warm-up)
    120x12
    130x8
    150x5

Weight doesn't really matter on those, I like to switch the grips up and focus on squeezing the lats rather than seeing how much weight I can pull down.

I do 162.5/175 and get a great pump on my lats.

180x6 on my last set, while keeping pretty good form... as someone mentioned, i try to keep a better form and squeeze rather than just slap more weight

Widegrip to the chest is harder than behind the head.....so it depends on the exercise....

I usually work with 210 or 225 for sets of 8-12. I prefer 210 for a cleaner set, but it is just too fun to ride the cable up after a set of 225 (although those days are near over :hs:)

i usually do the bottom half of the rep on pulldowns...it has really helped me get all the way to the top of my pullups on those last reps
