    Hi,

Just wondering how much you guys pay for your domains? Do they renew at the same price? The reason why I ask is that I want to see if I can offer some good domain registration deals to OT, but I want to gauge if I can actually do it or not :noes:.

I'm not sure if these kind of "marketing research" threads are allowed, I think it should be ok :coolugh:

Depends what coupon codes GoDaddy is running at the time. Then I can get them for under $10. :x:

i usually wait to buy domains if i have a coupon, i love the 99 cent sales lol, but usually will pay 7 something with a coupon, renewing is another thing, usually i don't have a coupon so i will pay full price 10 and a little change

You're already a service provider, I don't see a problem with providing additional services here.

Same here as the rest, $7.xx from GoDaddy using coupons. I always seem to miss the $0.99 .com's though, or run out of ideas and finally think of one and it's already expired. :o

Renewals are either full price or using some of Godaddy's coupons in the email newsletters, a few bucks off. By then I've already made enough to cover most expenses, so I don't feel so bad paying full price for the renewal.

Bottom line: What can you offer? If it's a good deal, I'm in it for all my domains. (50+) I'm sure others in here have hundreds, if not thousands more. :o

I have a $7.95 enom reseller account so I usually throw $100-200 into my account at a time and it takes care of my auto-renewals, new customer domains and my own domains when I need them.

Do wish I had bought a $6.95 reseller account years back when you could get them for about $100 as I have registered hundreds and hundreds of domains over the years.

Thanks for all the feedback :big grin: I'm going to see if I can come up with a domain coupon for OTers to get them cheap. One drawback about it (not a huge one really) is that the domain management is not as advanced as GoDaddy's. If you get domains from me, then you will just have a basic list of them, and you can modify all the info, but that's pretty much it, no fancy folders to sort, etc. But I hope I can get a good price for you guys :big grin:

I've purchased a number of .coms recently for $0.99 ... very nice. Just renewed one of my domains for two years for $15 total. Pretty affordable in my opinion.
