How much do you lunge with?

    I've been doing lunges for a few weeks now. I do 4x8 each leg with a barbell- 55-65-75-85, meanwhile my 3rm of squats is 205

    Post up what you squat and what you lunge.

    Edit: Also, do you guys step into your lunges or do you do them stationary (where you're extended and just dip your rear knee)?

    I just started lunging last week, I started out with some 30 lb freeweights for sets of 10 on each leg. feels good

    Would you recommend bulgarian squats over lunges? And why do you workout in jeans? I'm almost uncomfortable in basketball shorts when I workout...I can't even imagine how uncomfortable jeans would be.

    I was doing lunges with 115 when I was squatting 260x5 for 5 sets.

    i do 1 legged bb stepups onto a plyo box (can use a bench) with 115 or so.

    Just started lunges last week. Felt great, but made me sore'er (sp?) then a mofo. Last week I was able to max out at about 40lbs, dumbbells.. Don't laugh :hsd:
