I was paying $25 a month but now that gym is closed and due to reopen sometime in the next century.

Gold's is @ $45 (i'm going to call them today) and Washington Sports Clubs is $39.

WSC is smaller than golds, I think, has only 2 "real" squat racks (one cage, one rack), no deadlift platform, 2 flat benches, one incline, two adjustable dumbell benches. :greddy: and no deadlift platform or set deadlift area.

$21/mo for a typical mom suburban gym. Though the DBs go to 150, 1 power rack, 2 squat racks, 1 smith, and it's open 24 hours so I can go at 12am.

$36 a month for a student rate. I managed to get in about a week before the price got jacked up

Don't know what it is now.

It's a cool one. It's got some big guys around without it being a snake pit (I used to belong to a snake pit gym, scared me). It's also open 24 hrs, which doesn't really help me right now since I rely on the bus to get everywhere and I have to get up at 5:30 am.

I paid $460 up front for the whole yr. No 'startup fees.'

DB's up to 200 since everyone is mentioning it. Waiting for Ronnie to stop by and use them, as they are collecting dust.

    hmm

well gold's is also a bit farther from my house and there's nothing around it.

WSC is in a shopping center with a gamespot, blockbuster, starbucks, Giant Foods, Chevy Chase bank, and two decent restaraunts.

    decisions decisions.

ah fuck it i'll go to WSC. it's on the way home from work.

$30/mo CAD, no contract or startup fee.

It's a small gym, but its mostly older people doing cardio and machines, so the free-weight area is usually pretty clear. Only one cage, no DL platform or anything, DB's up to 100. But... I like it. You get to know everyone, and the owner hooks me up with at-cost pricing for supplements and stuff. Plus its 5 mins from home.

24 HR. Fitness (opened 24hrs)- $21.60/mo able to go to all gyms, anywhere, except for the sport/super sports. I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade or not.
