I haven't had a gym membership in a while, but when I did, it was 0 down and $20 a month for LA Fitness in the arizona area. It seems like no matter where I ask now it seems like everyone wants like $200-$300 down and $40 a month :hs: I'm gonna do it, I was just kind of hoping to be paying what I did in the past :o

What do you all pay/did pay?

I've seen a number of big churches here with gyms (not any weightlifting ones though). A lot of them have basketball gyms and whatnot to provide a place for members to get/play together.

$200something sign up fee and $79.99 per month...

It's the closesy gym next to me (it's literally 1minute walking, it's part of my apartment complex. It's a Sports and Health (figures)...

Closest one after this is something like 2 hours walking

It does have everything though. There's not a single machine that i needed that i have not seen yet...and they added some new ones :) The dumbbells go up to 160 the last time i checked, something like that... No one yells at you or anything if you drop dumbbells or anything really...i've seen people do really heavy deadlifts that would constantly make a lot of noise (with the heavy weight hitting the ground of course) and people grunting and all that and no one ever said anything, it's really cool actually. Plus, the personal trainers aren't completely clueless either and one of them told me that it's a really easy way to make good money...
