quit a bit bigger, dont have any comparison pics but Ive owned an SP-01 and shot a P-01, I would say that the P-01 is like Glock 19 and a SP-01 is more like a mix between a 34/17

Perhaps that pic doesn't quite do it justice...

If you have an inkling of ever carrying/concealing/etc the gun, don't buy the SP01. It's not only big, it's heavy as hell.

Both are great guns.... Are you looking for a range gun, a comp gun, a GP rig... What?

Just get both. I would start with the SP01. Shoot the SP01 for a while then when you decide you want to get a trigger job done to it, get a P01 so you don't miss the SP01 while it is at the smiths.

    Yar's on point.

You WILL want a trigger/action job. In fact, I would just go ahead and factor that into the cost of the gun.... it makes that big a difference.

I want an SP-01, but I can't get a factory one with the safety (instead of the decocker) and Night sites. :(

Why not? That's a factory produced combination; Does no one have them in stock?

I'd buy this one, and skip myself the trouble of having to re-send it back in (time + more money in shipping) for trigger work. Or buy a Shadow and ask Angus to hold the sights...

    Edit**

Here's some on ARFCOM EE for sale...

    http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=88&t=560127 - fucked trigger

I'd buy the one with the fucked trigger (and try to get him to include shipping), and have the gun sent straight to Angus' shop (to save $$ on shipping) for a SA conversion with the money I saved over new.

Deals abound for those inclined.... These ARE the good old days.

I'd be interested in trying the Nils before I bought them. After looking at them more, they appear to be on the thick/chunky side. I have a decent sized hand (Size L glove) and still prefer all my CZ's to have ultra thin grips.
