does anyone happen to have both with side by side pic?
quit a bit bigger, dont have any comparison pics but Ive owned an SP-01 and shot a P-01, I would say that the P-01 is like Glock 19 and a SP-01 is more like a mix between a 34/17
i really like both, cant decide!
i just found a pic
found a new sp01 tactical for 505 shipped, good deal? p01 is 515 shipped
If its for the range you cant beat the SP-01, fucking awesome gun I really want another one.
Perhaps that pic doesn't quite do it justice...
If you have an inkling of ever carrying/concealing/etc the gun, don't buy the SP01. It's not only big, it's heavy as hell.
Both are great guns.... Are you looking for a range gun, a comp gun, a GP rig... What?
Just get both. I would start with the SP01. Shoot the SP01 for a while then when you decide you want to get a trigger job done to it, get a P01 so you don't miss the SP01 while it is at the smiths.
Yar's on point.
You WILL want a trigger/action job. In fact, I would just go ahead and factor that into the cost of the gun.... it makes that big a difference.
I didn't know Nil made grips for CZ's..... Oh snap!
I want an SP-01, but I can't get a factory one with the safety (instead of the decocker) and Night sites.
Why not? That's a factory produced combination; Does no one have them in stock?
I'd buy this one, and skip myself the trouble of having to re-send it back in (time + more money in shipping) for trigger work. Or buy a Shadow and ask Angus to hold the sights...
Here's some on ARFCOM EE for sale...

I'd buy the one with the fucked trigger (and try to get him to include shipping), and have the gun sent straight to Angus' shop (to save $$ on shipping) for a SA conversion with the money I saved over new.
Deals abound for those inclined.... These ARE the good old days.
i just pulled the trigger on a sp01 tactical, that one with the nil grip did it for me
I'd be interested in trying the Nils before I bought them. After looking at them more, they appear to be on the thick/chunky side. I have a decent sized hand (Size L glove) and still prefer all my CZ's to have ultra thin grips.
