The gym I'm thinking of joining (a powerhouse gym) is $50/month. I'm just curious if this is the going rate, or if it's a bit pricey. It just seems like a bit much to me. Maybe if I look around a little harder I can find a bare-bones free weight gym hidden in some corner. :hs:

69.95/month for my gym, 50 sounds about average.

I first got my membership to 24 Hour when they started branching out so I signed up through some major promo... $49.99/yr, any 24 Hour facility, even international... game set match. LATE.

My gym is ~$20 a month but I haven't been charged since I bought one year when I joined. I think that was 2 years ago.

$70 a semester....but I dont pay it the lottery system of GA does.

I'd gladly pay $50 (possibly more) a month for a decent gym with a GHR, Reverse-Hyper, DL/OLY platform and monolift.

the powerhouse right by me is only 200$ for a year membership. being that we're both from southeast Michigan, you would think the price would be fairly consistent. is it 50$/month if you don't sign up for a set certain number of months? if so, they're trying to push more long term memberships and you'll most likely save a lot of money that way

Trust me, all the equipment in the world is no good unless you don't have people u enjoy training with.

At the moment because I'm training around my uni schedule, I can't train with anybody at my pl gym, so its shit.

$0.00/month. It's actually $65 but I've been getting free monthly passes for the last 5 months from the spicy little 21 y/o who works the counter. My gym is run so horribly.
