I have a little shoebox that I keep around just in case. I just stop at the store on my way to the range when I need ammo.

    do people that reload count?

i have about 1000rounds of each on hand, and I have enough materials to do 5times that (with all my trips to the range collecting brass, and bulk orders of bullets)

edit: except 500sw and 50ae, thats more like 200rounds :(

I like to keep atleast 1k rounds of each frequently used caliber owned. I'm below that on a few but well above it on a couple others

no, in fact i'm still eying a cobb ba-50 and a 50bmg press- quick question OT

why are all the 50BMG reloads "ugly" in terms of brass, do the cases just not polish up that well? or do people simply not care

i've never heard of windex in the walnut, I guess the alcohol properties make them come out clean and dry? I use the dillon rapid polish, it fucking works REALLY good

also if you throw a dryer sheet in your tumbler, all of the dirt will stick to it and keep your media a lot cleaner :bigthumb:

i started doing it late in the game, so I see a full dryer sheet everytime I tumble, but media doesn't get cleaner, doesn't get dirtier either though :)

I imagine the windex would keep the dusting down too- let me know how either or both work out with NEW media
