how much actual power does flowmaster exhaust give?

    on a 99 tahoe? true dual exhaust flowmaster 2 chamber exhaust?

    I'd say maybe 5-10hp. I put mine on a couple of years ago and didn't really notice much difference, performance-wise. The main reason I put it on was for looks and sound.

    5-10 sounds about right. Exhaust numbers are always greatly inflated, unless you're a ricer, then just a new muffler and a coffee can will give you about 50hp and a top speed of 250mph.
