I don't have 4wd (yea shaddap) but I'm not afraid to stretch the legs on my Exploder. When I had my Nissan, there wasn't anywhere I wouldn't go :)

    What's 2wd?
Hell I go off-roading at least once every two weeks. I even flew out to Moab and rented a Jeep there to go off-roading.
I own three Jeeps but will soon be adding two more to the stable.

Snow, mud, fields, my Jeep traverses it all.

    Usually in the winter.

I wheel a lot. Any chance I get, but only when it is legal, the days of wheeling on other peoples property are behind me. Oh yeah, I have a 2000 S10 ZR2, 2" Body Lift, Shackles, 33x10.50 BFG KM's, Hella 500 lights, and some other stuff.

This picture was taken when I just bought her, but she gets to go off-road at least once a week.

Yah, it's AWD and it works just as well I just can't go up steep steep hills.

I have that on my XJ too. I have shown up many lifted Jeeps with my "stock" XJ. Driver skill comes into play too of course.

  14. I just drive mine to the mall.

You dont seem to be living up to your name in that pic. Why don't you post some "flex" shots for us.

Here is one to get us started, not mine, but a friends.

  16. That's a cool flex-o shot, the only one I've got is this one, and it's not the best.
It's the same ledge just going up it and it was taken a month or so earlier.
How bout some of the Zr2 flexin'? . . .

Thats about all I got, and of course, there is no flex in the front. Damn IFS:mad:

The factory Gov Loc, it is limited slip and is quite brutal when it engages. But overall I am very happy with it and it hasnt given me any problems yet. I would put a full locker in but I would have to remove the old one plus pull the ring and pinion, so I will just stick with what it has. It does exceptionally well offroad, so really there is nothing to change. Except for a SFA, but I don't have the money or the time.

By the way, Flex-O, what are your mods? It looks pretty stock to me. But as we both know, stock wranglers are quite capable.:bigthumb:

  21. It pretty much is stock height in those pics. I have JKS Sway bar disconnects, and now it has 31x10.5 BFG MT KM's. And I just recently did the exhaust manifold replacement, my old one had a crack, with a borla header and cat-back. I drive it daily and have some other things I'd rather do before I lift it, like a winch and better axels, new bumpers, skidplates . . .

WFO, my best friend, is about to have to replace his manifold and was going to do the borla thing. How do you like it? In reference to the KM's, if you havent had them offroad yet then I will tell you that they are sweet.:bigthumb: And what axles are you thinking about? May I suggest a 8.8 rear, its all youll need unless you are going extreme. And if you are only going to 33's you can keep the 30 up front. But I am sure you know this. Anyways, nice jeep and keep the mods coming.

I have quite a few people in my club with lifted Jeeps. I have wheeled with people with ZJ's, XJ's, WJ's, and TJ's all lifted 5+ inches. I can follow them on most stuff though. Skill and my rear lsd are major factors in that.

  25. The borla is pretty nice, don't believe the BS that it gives you 20hp. It does make for a little better pickup on downshifts, and it sure beats havina cracked manifold. I haven't really thought "realistically" about axles yet. In my jeep dreams I would have Tera60's with 35"
