    :ugh2:

We also have healthcare. We just have our employers foot the bill instead of paying ridiculous taxes :wiggle:

Thank God I have health care. Tore my ACL, MCL, and a bunch of meniscus, in a tournament in June. i would be so fucked right now. It would be pretty fucking stupid to train without it.

Not trying to be an asshole, just talking from experience. Pretty big risk to gamble on, imo.

Oh no I agree with you 100%. It's a huge gamble. Save money in the short run, lose a ton of money in the long run. It's one of the reasons I want to avoid tournaments cause they hunger for blood. I just need to find a more stable job that offers Health Insurance. Fuck work.

I'm looking up plans for Illinois. There's a ton of deductible/coverage info, but the cheap ones are around 50-80$ a month

Yeah, seems there's Illinois versions. They are in the range of 80$ too. I'm hoping to land a certain job with the best benefits ever but they haven't looked at resumes yet. It's my old job and now there's an opening :run:

Not brave, just poor/broke. The reason I took such time off was because I was broke. But I moved money around and found out I had enough to afford $130/month.

I've pulled my finger to the back of my backhand, twisted my knee a few times, pulled my calves a ton of times, neck spasm. But nothing too serious where I needed to go to the Doctor it seems. I'm going to jinx it and the next time I go train I'm going to be in a world of pain :sadwavey:

You're lucky. I'm two doctor visits, Xrays, and an MRI in on a shoulder injury and so far it's cost me about $300 OOP (including my deductible this year). And I may be looking at shoulder surgery in the near future.

Not really.. torn rotator cuff. Probably happened holding pads doing some GNP drills a couple years back and now it's flaring up to the point where it's bothering me.
