I just finished reading a few other books for fun and I figured I'd read one about bodybuilding/working out.

Is Arnold's Bible worth it or do you guys recommend a different book?

Edit: Almost forgot the story for this thread. I was at the gym earlier today (technically last night) and the high school girls who randomly show up were there. They can't be more than freshmen or sophomores. All of them dress in the same whorish way. Their shorts are honestly no taller than 8-12" high...barely enough to cover from the top of their pubic bone down to their hairless vaginas. The bottom lobes of their ass cheeks also hang out quite a bit in the back. The only exercises they do are the hip abductors/adductors, the leg extensions, and the situp machines. It's very obvious that they come to the gym for one thing and one thing alone: attention...and holy fuck do they get it. I watched 3 different guys (one was ~25, the other two looked 30ish) run into bars and weight racks while staring profusely. So why even mention this as if it's a bad thing? Because these girls are ~14-15 years old and complete airheads.

I like the Arnold book, the first part is about the history of bodybuilding and has lots of pics of all the great classic bodybuilders. Pretty cool stuff.

The volume in there is insane. Theres no recovery time either. I'd say those routines are Flex/M&F style aka awful.

I'm a small fuck though so what do I know?

I'm going to go buy it in a few minutes. I'll bump this thread with a mini-review for those who haven't read it.

Also read "Education of a Bodybuilder" by Arnold. It goes into more of his history, lifting back in the day in the army with no equipment. Lifting when he was a teen. Pretty interesting stuff.

I did the begginer routine fine, if your not a pussy you can do it fine. Sure it isnt easy, but just like Arnold said man, you gonna wanna puke after lifting like that, and its fucking true. But let me tell you, his fucing routines are awsome.

The basic routine is alright but if you follow the "advanced" one you're a dumbass.
