if you were to blow out a knee or something...how would you pay for it?
My insurance blows... I basically have to pay half whenever I need to use it.. paid a few thousand for my meniscus surgery last year. Yea, it blows.
I do know a lot of guys that do train without insurance though.. mainly because they are illegal. lol.
i know someone that didn't have health insurance and when he hurt his shoulder real bad, he faked being healthy, got insurance, then got surgery for his shoulder lol.
i have insurance through my job but it sucks.. had to pay 800 out of pocket for my cyst removal last year
I don't and just jacked up my neck.
When I broke my hand I had shit insurance. I still owe $1,500. I just ignore numbers I don't know so I don't have to deal with the collectors until I get some money.
lulz no insurance here either
i wouldnt have to pay a thing
ouch....that sucks. hope you guys can make enough money to buy insurance.
I have great insurance
I tore my ACL in training and ended up paying ~$400
I say its a must have if you are serious about training/fighting
i have bluecross
So is actually training.
Blue cross has insurance for $70/month. You guys are failures if you can't scrounge that up.
Australia cares about its citizens.
Its on my list of shit to buy next month.
I was about to email you to ask you about it, I remember you mentioning it to me last year.
How does one sign up or get some more info. I went to the website and that didnt help. Thanks..
Usually there's a blue cross/blue shields site for your state so just google something like "blue cross blue shield california" or whatever state you're in. That site should tell you what you need to know.
word and i also have AB Bluecross and greencard/greenplan thing
so even my meds are covered, when my sister needed $1500 needles for her arthiritis all of it was covered and she had to get them about 5 times since january
pays for itself, ill wait in line at the hospital and med centre and take free healthcare anyday.
But thats just me being a healthy person and knowing if i need a cast or anything ill get it
My healthcare is pretty baller. I pay 200 a month for it but I have no deductable on most shit. The only thing I really have to pay for is E.R. and some other shit. When I had my heart surgery back in 07 the bill was insane, it was like the price of a baller car. I ended up only paying like $5 - 700 for the whole thing and a big chunk of it was the emergency room visit and the ambulance ride to another hospital.
I mean the way this country works you cant afford to not have decent health care. If you dont have it they will fuck you in the ass with out ky. Healthcare shouldnt be treated like a business IMO
Fuck the American Healthcare system, after watching sicko (even though i took it with a grain of salt) pretty much put me off the American way of dealing with healthcare, as if it were a business.
yeah we need to get some universal health care up in this bitch
I'm lucky as shit my mom started getting insurance for me when I was a teenager. I never knew I had it until the day I got sick, had never once used it... but now I need the fuck out of it. my shots are $1200 a month... fuck if I could pay that out of pocket.
Kiwi's have this great thing called the ACC.
that was the last place i had to visit the hospital.
I need new insurance now that im back in the states and unemployed.
It's the peace of mind I appreciate. Especially when it comes to something like training BJJ/Judo.
my one gym has insurance that covers my injuries IF something happens to me while training there...other than that no insurance for now either lol
