10 mags for each handgun, 20 for rifles (AR-15).
    1k in .38spl
    4k in 9mm
    2k in .45acp
    2k in 5.56mm/.223
    1k in 7.62x39mm
    1k in 6.5x55 swede

So far i only have 2 mags each for two pistols and 7 for the 1911. I've got nothing (<100) in .38, 7.62, and 6.5 swede.

If I come across a good deal, I'll buy. My personal stash has:

    12 - G19 mags
    4 - G18 mags
    8 - G21 mags
    3 - USPc mags
    17 - PMAGs

I can never have enough ammo but the current pile consists of, roughly:

    13K 5.56
    4K 7.62
    2K 9mm
    1K .45
    1K 12ga

I shoot 2-3k in each caliber (not including 22lr, that's closer to 8k) each year
so... 20k to 30k in each caliber would keep me happy for a few years.

as for mags, 10-15 for each, I'm in the process of getting there.

I prefer quite a few mags for pistols, as they are wear items and tend to get lost/fucked up soon enough. I think I have ~25 CZ mags last time I counted, and am contemplating buying some more (SP01 and 26rds).

Ammo just depends. I reload most of my stuff, so buying/loading in bulk has a lot of advantages and makes more sense.

I guess I should add that the ammo would be factory ammo.

You buying your CZ mags new? I'm still on the fence about upgrading my 75B SA. I want to get work done on it but I keep buying ammo. :o

Most of them I've snagged in bulk purchases, or they came with guns I've bought. That's definitely the cheapest way to acquire them, and I've picked up the majority for around $15 a pop.

CZ's really are a different animal when worked over. If you like the gun now, you will absolutely LOVE it once it's breathed on a bit. It's really night/day, and the triggers clean up to be fantastic. If you are tight on cash, you could order the parts yourself, and do 80% of the work yourself. If you are at all mechanically inclined it's an evening worth of work for the first time through. Seriously.

    Mags:
    10-Glock
    2-My Raven .25 :mamoru::hsugh:
    25-AR

Right now I've got 5 for the Glock, 1 for the Raven, and about 10 or 12 for the AR, so I've still got some buying to do there.

As for ammo, you can never have enough. As a rule, I feel like I'm getting down there if I have less than 200 on hand for the glock, 500 on hand for either bolt action (Mosin and Remmy 700 in .308), and 1k for the AR. Currently, I'm low on all but the 7.62x54 :hs:

Also, I've got less than 25 rounds of 00 buck, so I need to get some more of that one of these days :(

The more ammo I accumulate, the more I shoot. I shoot 2x a week as it is, thank god for reloading.

i only have four low caps for my sig and my AR15, i dont want to waste any money on any more. however, i guess when i move out of CA i can always post them up on calguns and make my money back :hs:
