I came to the realization that I am a WMD reject. I have one AR magazine and one factory ciener magazine. on top of that, i'm set to build 3 AKs and have 0 AK magazines.

how many is too many? or not enough? i'm probably going to order 2-3 Black dog magazines and at least 10 AR and AK magazines. i assume that should cover it.

i have 4 magazines for my g19 and considering ordering a few more, too :o

At the very least five per pistol and ten per rifle. For states with bans on normal capacity mags, triple that.

And enough stripper clips for 200 rounds per milsurp. :mamoru:

your numbers look good to me. I have 3 Cieners and about 10-12 C-Products ar mags, which have been flawless. Then I got into AK's, so, i have like 16 mags for 2 rifles. So that needs some work. Also, I've got like 8 glock mags for 2 g19's.

You just made me realize what I need to get next, THANKS!

I have something like 26 AK mags and no AK's. Two parts kits, but they really never progressed past that point.

10 for each gun you own.

    At least.

I ordered 5 mags for my incoming AR. My dad's P226 has two, going to pick up at least one more.

I probably should stock the hell up, considering im in IL. :o

I'll probably go to a gun show and see if I can get a deal on 10 30 rd AR mags sometime in the future. Then get a pile of Pmags and call it a day.

I'd ideally like to have 20 AR mags, 20 15rd Glock mags, and 10 33rd Glock mags.

Thanks, Shay. That seems to be the general consensus and is probably where I'll start.

    I don't think I'll be buying 9 10/22 mags any time soon, though. :o

I should have added that this is my rule for fighting guns. Plinking and fun guns it really doesn't matter.

Most of OT only needs one mag to have in the gun so they can take a cool picture to post.

3 for my P229 right now. I plan to get some more but they cost twice as much as Glock mags.

I have ~300 AR mags on hand right now, ~300 AR 6.8 mags incoming and 250 AR 9mm mags incoming.(But I sell them) Personal stach is ~25 AR mags, 15 AR 9mm mags, 30 glock mags, I think 10 BD ciener mags, 10 or so 10/22 mags.

In an AR it's about 5 mags of rapid fire.

    Noveske CQB 10.5"
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmliCMvcaq0

    10.5" experimental barrel, 7P, 5.56 NMm0 chamber
    KX3 flash suppressor
    LaRue Tactical 11.0 SBRS rail
    Surefire M900 light
    Aimpoint M3 with LaRue Mount

The purpose of this video demonstrates the reliability of the 5.56NMm0 chamber. This was a destructive test. A rate of fire as demonstrated may damage or destroy a barrel.

With full mag dumps and full auto it's going to be very difficult to distinguish a cookoff.

One or two for the range since they will wear out more. The others to leave in various locations. Popping in another magazine is quicker than loading it when you need it.

I like not having to reload mags all the time at the range, I could never get by with just 4 mags for an AR or AK. Also case of future bans mostly, that way I'll always have enough and I might be able to sell some for profit, I stocked up on a shitload of AK mag's when SG had their mag deal going on even now I could sell those for a profit, got alot of EG 74 mags when they were $5 used $6 new again I could make a nice profit off those right now if I wanted, not sure what my G3 mags are worth but I got 50 for $50 from crapco I'm sure their worth more then a $1 now.

For plinking it is, if you take a training class with your rifle though you'll not want to have to be reloading mags all day and missing out on stuff.

I have 4 mags for the SIG, 1 for my home defense hollowpoints, and the other 3 for range ammo.

May buy 1 or two of the new 17rnd mags...

    Over 4 dozen AK mags
    3 Mags for the keltec
    9 Mags for the Sig
7 Mags for the AR I JUST bought
    5 Mags for the CZ-52
2 Mags for the MKIII 22/45 Hunter - Never shoot it, so that's ok
    2 10rnders, and 4 25rnders for the 10/22, which I also never shoot

I need to stock up on some more AR mags, and get some 74 Mags for the AK74 I eventually want to purchase. Probably should pick up a few more for the Sig too.
