And how many times do you train them weekly?

    And what do you do?

Alot of F&N has boss tris, do you just smash them into the ground? Or do 2-3 core movements heavy with good form?

i've been training them twice a week, as they're lagging behind. Noticed a bit of a difference, but i've only been doing such for three weeks.

i do 2 different exercises when i train, picking two from the following list:

    -rope pulldown
    -vbar pulldown
    -reverse pulldown
    -bent over rope pulldown
    -tricep press
    -french curl

. all of these, and also

    I usually do 3 to 4 exercises

    Kickbacks
    Overhead rope extensions
    seated dips
overhead single arm cable extensions (seen kai green doing them in a vid)
triceps triad (using D handle on the cable machine anchored at the top, and then doing triceps extensions at three different angles.)
    Various triceps universal machines.

I also like to mix in a burnout day once or twice a month. Using weight stacks and choosing a weight thats a challenge and doing reps of 8 all the way down the stack without a break. For anyone who is weak and this would mean starting near the bottom (so thus you are only doing 3 or 4 plates) work up to from the bottom until its too heavy then burn ur way back down.

note: my arms are a weakpoint, but they are slowly but surely coming up.

My tris are one of my strong points, I do 3 exercises once a week. Start with heavy work on the first 2 exercises then high rep/failure on the last one. Usually out of this list:

    1. Close grip bench press
    2. Seated DB Overhead extension, + drop sets with a 25-35 lb plate
    3. V-Bar pushdown
    4. Rope pushdown/Reverse grip isolated cable pushdown

my tris have exploded since august

    dips on chest day
arm day -(3x8-12) skull crushers, 2sets of rope pushdown, bar pushdown, reverse pushdown

i use to do a bunch of exercises that felt good(kickbacks and shit) but saw no progress. keeping it simple has worked wonders

i usually do 2 exercises on chest day, one movement with heavier weight like skullcrushers or overhead DB's and then one single arm movement like reverse pushdowns or cable kickbacks plus all the other chest stuff like bench and incline and then on arm day i do heavy close grip bench doing 5x5 and then i do 2-3 more movements and i'll superset the last two :dunno: but my tricepts blow

Lots of pressing movements. Extensions and what not are okay to do, but your benching will make the biggest impact on tricep size. On my bench day I do 2 heavy pressing movements, and 1 extension movement. The extension movement is almost always done for high volume -I dwell around the 20 rep range often. On my other upper body day, I do high volume overhead press work.

i do them with chest, so I usually do something like flat bb bench, incline db, dips, 1 or 2 tricep isolation exercises.

damn thats a lot of tri work in one day.

skullcrushers are great. can't believe i forgot to mention those.

I feel safer doing the one arm version in a french curl.

Usually 2-3 exercises at most. And try to usually do one exercise where contracted position arms are parallel to torso, one where contracted position arms are overhead, and one where arms are perpendicular to torso.
So pressdown or machine dips (kickbacks too).
Overhead cable, overhead dumbbell extensions or single arm overhead dumbbell ext.
And then close grip bench, skull crusher, machine extensions or tate press can qualify as perpendicular to torso.

Usually 3 exercises once a week.

I've always had decent tri's though (one of my best attributes I think) from years of heavy benching while playing football.

Heavy pressing movement will usually give you thick tri's.

I like close grip bench, it allows me to really go heavier on it to destroy the tri. Other than that, cable stuff mainly. My elbows don't like much of the overhead stuff.
