How many of you carry concealed into banks and places that your not supposed to?

Do the "no weapons allowed" signs make "you" leave the gun in the car?

I don't go to public schools for any reason. I'm legally allowed to carry anywhere else unless they have metal detectors and security at every entrance. If I could get past that crap I would :hs:.

It depends on your state and the question. The OP is from missouri. In missouri carrying in places expressly prohibited (church, bars, casino, stadiums, etc) in the states legal code isn't a criminal violation. You may only be ejected. If you refuse to leave then the police can get you for tresspassing.

So in short, it all depends on your state law as to if its a big deal or not.

That's how it is in Colorado unless they have metal detectors and security at all entrances. The catch is that even if they have security they have to have a way to securely store your firearm in the building until you're finished with your business. No one does that.

Signs have no legal weight in GA. But, I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Luckily, we have a nice long list of places that are designated off limits by the state to keep up with...

...that just got longer with the addition of nuclear power plants...

    ...fuckers.

Most states are relaxing restrictions, we keep adding them.

Interestingly, in CA it is only a misdomeanor to carry a firearm concealed the first time you are caught, but it is a felony if it is a knife *rolls eyes*

A couple years ago, I knew the owner of a bar and a guy came in while we were there and sat down. My friend said he got kicked out last night and he didn't want him back this day. Told him to leave and he said no, owner called the cops, and while he was on the phone the guy stands up, pulls a SS Ruger P89 out of his jacket, racks the slide and when he pointed it, it was right at me, then he sweeps the place (about 8 people there). Everyone looked at me wondering why I didn't pull mine and I told them it was in the car because I couldn't have it in a place that serves alcohol. So no, I still obey the gun laws no matter how stupid some are.

Most off limits places in GA (places that serve alcohol, churches, sporting events, etc...) are "only" a misdemeanor if you get caught. No loss of firearms or permits if you get convicted.

Weigh that against watching your wife get raped in the Applebee's parking lot...

Carrying on public transportation or within a "reasonable area" around a bus stop is fucking felony hijacking though :eek3: Most bus stops downtown are just a sign on a pole.
