How many CARBS during a cut?

    Is there an equation or a proper ammount to take in during a cut? im trying to figure out a diet for the week.

    When I cut I was taking in 1800-2000 calories and 145-160g of carbs. I was 6'3" ~216lb.

    Im 239 just weighed in after working out. Im 6'0 without shoes.
    I workout 4 days a week weights, 3 days cardio.

    GIVE ME ADVICE!!!!

    Ya I just ran a diet now it came out to :

    1990 calories
    224g of protein
    21g of fat
    180g of carbs.

    its 5 meals
    ---------------------------------------

    8:30 am -
    5 egg whites + some turkey mixed in
    1 serving of oat meal + skim milk

    12noon -
    1.5 scoops of ON Protein
    2 cups of milk

    4 pm -
    Subway Chicken Terraki 6 inch with all veggies + soup
    (im nowhere near a stove at this point thats the only reason for this meal, plus the roll adds a ton of carbs . . . not sure if its a good idea)

    5:30pm work out

    7:30 pm following work out -
    1.5 scoops of ON Protein
    2 cups of milk

    11 pm
    Turkey Burger Pattis or Chicken Breast
    1 cup of Veggie mix.



    Look good or what should I change or add.

    fat seems pretty low..at least for me.

    Are you supplementing with fishoil at least?

    yes sir, Im taking 1200mg's x 6 a day.
    Mega men multi Vit in the mornings

    Anything else you can suggest.

    On a side note timberwolf is the reason I forced myself back in the gym 2-3 months ago, i hope in a few years I can look 1/2 like him.

    Give me any suggestions I could use em!!!

    It totally depends on whether you do well on a low-carb cutting diet or not.

    Easiest is probably just to set your protein and then fill in with carbs to your cutting level; if you feel you're not making progress, drop the carbs and go up in protein/fat.

    The fats do seem pretty low. I'd say increase the amount of healthy fats and decrease the carbs a little.
