How many cals do you Burn a day and how much do you take in?

    I burn about 4000 - 4700 cals a day. I'm cutting and so I do about 3000 cals with a 40/40/20 mac split. I just had a protein shake and I'm up to 2,700 cals for today. I need more cals and could use more protein. Sigh, It's 1:30 am ... should I eat a steak before bedtime???

    I take in 3500-4000. I suppose I burn that ammount since I havent really been putting on any weight.

    i used to, but after a couple of weeks, it went away
    i had a big problem with eating in bed, and that was bad

    speaking of calories, here's my lunch today (apparently it's a cheat day now...)

    Qdoba Mexican Grill®, Chicken Burrito with rice and cheese, mild

    Measurement: 1 burrito
    Calories: 1245 cal.
    Protein: 57.8 g.
    Fat: 58.09 g.
    Carbohydrates: 121.75 g.

    ...yeah, crumbs in the sheets FTL!

    Fitday tells me I'm burning around 2400 a day...but I don't see how the hell that could possibly be right. I'd be losing weight allot faster than I am. Been doing 1500-1800 cals a day for about 3 weeks. I think my metabolism shifts on certain days or something.

    I'd say try fitday...but then, I don't know if it's very accurate :hs:

    What's your BMR + lifestyle + activities you do? That's how you basicly figure calories used in a day. You should start to see some weight being taken off if your macro split ratios are right. Are u getting in enough fat?
