    What are your goals?

    Lean down?
    Add mass?
    Maintain where you're at?

lose fat while adding muscle. i have a high body fat % right now (i was 40lbs heavier a few months ago) i still want to lose a good amount of fat but i want to build muscle while doing so.

for breakfast i had a small glass of OJ, a fiber one bar and a light yogurt. for lunch i had subway (12" sweet onion chicken teriyaki with a lot of veggies on whole wheat) and for dinner i had chicken breast with tomatoes and basil with a side of vegatables.

Start at 2500 and monitor your weight loss/weight gain and adjust according to your goals e.g. if you're eating 2500 and losing 1lb/week and you want to lose weight stick with it

the scale is just one way of measuring fat loss but one day to other doesnt mean anything. Im 5'8 and started my weightloss at 245, ive been at 213 for about 2 weeks but my clothes fits me better and im seeing great gains in the gym so its all good. Currently im on pur's diet and workout program.

higher intensity. im usually sweat out 5lbs at the gym. you need to eat 6-7 meals a day to get your metabolism back up to par

2500 cals/6 meals=415 cals per meal do 40%P/40%F/20%C for a while if carbs are a bitch to you

i started a few months ago doing a low carb diet and it worked pretty well for me but i'm tired of not eating carbs at all especially with the summer coming up so i'm switching to a lower calorie more sustainable diet that i can stay on for years instead of months.

I went from 18% body fat to 5.2% body fat starting at 2300 going up to 2800 and now I'm at 2600. I did this in 3 months.

Don't listen to any "No Carb" bullshit either. I always had over 200 carbs a day, for a bit over 300 and still dropped body fat. Just make sure they are complex carbs and try to eat most of them before your workout. The only carbs you'll need after your workout are simple carbs, but that's within half an hour after.

FWIW I lost the most weight at 2400-2500 cals a day when I was 238 at 5'11...got down to 174. From 238 to 174, I never had great results going below 2200 cals a day. I'd start at 2500 as mentioned above and see where that gets you. DON'T eat carbs unless you're active; I only eat starch and fruits after my workouts, and sometimes for breakfast. Keep protein your #1 priority and eat lots of greens, but make sure you get enough healthy fats in as well (nuts, olive oil, testicles)

Have you ever been a total fat ass? If this guy is 230+lbs at 5'10, he does NOT need to be pounding fucking sugar after his training sessions, regardless of his goals.

No one here did that. Maine/GTLifter dropped a whole ton of bodyfat but I don't think either got anywhere near 3%.

Literally, almost 2000 lbs. Those former fat tub'o'lards.
