depends on what kind of buffet.

chinese I'm low on because I fill up fast ....lots o'rice

chicken and other shit...oh man...maybe like 2500-3000 maybe more.

there is a buffet at a casino around here that has steaks, chinese, seafood, burgers, pizza...that I probably near 4k...cause I pound the steaks, ice cream, pizza, chicken, etc.

Usually around 1500-2000, mainly because I usually go to an all you can eat sushi place. I guess it really isnt a buffet, because it is made to order, but the other food is buffet style.

Yeah its a chinese buffet I usually go to.
Its about 25 per person on weekends but they serve crab legs which is what I fill up on.
Last sunday I had about 2 dozen of those, the grilled sausages, a few of these potato/ seafood things, corn and honey twists and bread pudding for dessert.

Only $10 or so, and it is quality sushi too, some of the best in town. There is another one closer to me, but they make really crappy sushi.

i spent 18$ the other day and walked out hungry still :wtc: the stuff was really good, but sushi is so damn expensive for how little you get. we got some shrimp tempura, california rolls, and then some salmon with cream cheese or something like that.

any recommendations on what to try? i'm very wary of odd shit like octopus and i don't have the best gag reflex :)greddy:). hell, sometimes when they make the rolls too big i damn near choke trying to eat them in one bite.

the all-you-can-eat sushi place around me limits salmon sushi intake to 25 per person and 25 tempora shrimp, i usually hit the max and dabble with some other kinds. i cant even imagine how many calories it is.

No idea...I was at a mongolian bbq place a month back and after filling up the bowl for the fifth time they told me no more. Its not my fault they were slow with the rice...I told them if they can't get me more rice I'm just going to keep eating as much meat as possible. I am going to guess it was over 3000 calories (the bowl was about 1.5 to 2 quarts in size)

Lets see, new orleans rolls, hawaii rolls, philly rolls, spicy crunchy crab, and type of sashimi. There are too many to list. I usually stick to things with salmon, tuna, shrimp, crab, and lobster. I usually avoid octopus and eel.

I usually eat 5-6 rolls or 30-36 pieces, plus I will have one or two egg rolls, spring rolls, or crab ragoons.

I also like eating at this Korean BBQ place. Its also all you can eat of beef, chciken, fish, shimp etc. I definitely don't touch the rice at all when I'm there.

Most I have consumed at one time at Todai (all you can eat sushi) was ~60 pieces with 10 pieces being rolls (makki). I will eat every single piece of shrimp, octopus, squid, salmon and egg sushi they have available.

All this talk of buffets is going to make me say screw cutting.

This one chinese buffet around central illinois has an awesome desert selection, after I'm done with the buffet I always go and have like 3 bowls of icecream smothered inbetween layers of crushed oreos, and tons of cookies, I probably have 1500 calories in desert alone, I don't leave until I feel like I'm going to explode :hsugh:
