how many calories are you bastards taking in a day?

    Weight: 205 lb
    height: 5'9"
    BF% approx: 15ish
    Calorie goal per day: sub 3k, been hangin' around 2700.

    It's been a while since I've actually counted calories. IIRC the 2k a day shit is for gays and girls. If I stay at 2700 for about 3 days, by the 4th I feel like i'm gunna fall through my asshole and hang myself.

    I can now say ??????????????????? because I just hit protein goals and eat what I want within reason and don't track it anymore. Lifts are growing, stomach is growing, penis is shrinking

    thats how I used to do it.

    I have a average to slow metabolism. Although if I was at 11/12% I'd prolly be trying to get 4k on the clean side.

    I think I'm going to decrease it by 100 cal a day til 2000 then increase by 100 a day til 3000. Should keep my body guessing and also give me some days to load back up some.

    most of my cals are pretty clean. they consist of:

    protein:
    ground beef
    ground turkey
    chicken
    fish (salmon, tilapia, orange roughy)
    tuna

    carbs:
    ezekiel bread
    spinach/wheat pasta
    yolk free noodles
    brown rice
    yams
    potatoes

    fats:
    natty pb
    olive oil
    almonds

    3-4 cheats weekly though usually after back and legs then one on the weekend consisting of wendys, mcdonalds, white castle, italian subs and cupcakes/donuts.

    sushi also 1-2x/week but dont consider that a cheat.

    I eat fairly clean, good protein and carbs purely out of habit from doing it over the years. This is the first time I've ever concerned myself with the actual calorie count. So basically for the first time, I'm not being super strict on what I eat as long as I don't exceed my calorie intake. Example, 6 pack day before yesterday. I shorted my calories by 660 to leave enough room for 6 BL's.

    I know diets, have always been successful. This is just the first time I've ever really counted calories.

    I'm hoping I can stay around 200 lb but maybe put a little muscle back on. The summer of cycling has taken a chunk out of my legs.

    Umm, i just did mine for today and it was 1800. I lifted and did 2 hours of spinning tonight. I'm 6 ft 1 and 182....why wont this fucking goddamn belly go the fuck away?

    I usually either lift or do 1 hr cardio, today was a bit crazy...but I always eat about the same amount

    calories in < calories out, right?

    not if calories are so low that your metabolism slows to a halt.

    everyone is different, but there was a time where I got down to 1700 cals a day and stopped losing...when I bumped back up to ~2400ish, I started losing weight consistently again.
