How low are you supposed to be when you catch a hang clean?

    1) Thighs below parallel and front squat the rest of the way (5th position)?

    or
    2) Half squat position, catch the clean, and then half squat (3rd position)?

    Different exercises....the first one is a squat clean, the second is a power clean

    Thanks Ceaze. I couldn't find any pictures to clarify my question so I just used those. I clarified my question a bit

    hang indicates the start position of the exercise, not the end position
