how longer after a work out are you eating.. and what are you eating

    ??????????? good lifting sessions = what types of foods, amounts and how long after the work out are you eating

    within an hour generally, but you don't want to wait longer than that. Its usually for me, is about 50 grams of protein and a low GI carb.

    within 30 minutes. Usually a cup or two of chicken and 2 large sweet potatoes with a gatorade or water

    50g whey immediately after with 16g of maltodextrin, creatine.. then high protein, low fat meal within 30-45 minutes. I wouldn't wait longer than an hour. Timing is everything.

    Two scoops whey in a glass of skim milk ~20 min after working out (time it takes me to get home from gym).

    Then ~30 min after that I make white rice and scramble a cup of egg whites.

    Then ~2-3 hours after that, I eat dinner.

    lets say i wake up at 430 am.. at the gym by 5 work out for 35-55 mins then go home... basically try to eat 30-45 mins after leaving the gym?

    2 scoop shake and 3 slices of white bread with 1tbsp of low sugar jelly.

    Immediately after working out.

    Recovery drink immediately after (30-40g protein, 30g carbs, glutamine, PureCEE)

    About an hour or so later will be lean protein and rice/couscous or lean protein on a low carb wrap, depending on my carb intake for the day.
