How long will remaining 5mm of brake pad last?

    So.....how much driving per daily? How much hwy vs. city? How thick were the brake pads when you started driving? How long has it been since the brakes were last replaced? Last time the disk was machined? etc....

    Mostly highway. Ceramic pads. Negro.

    Most highway, quite a while, especially if they're ceramic.
    Most pads are 10 - 12 mm new, so you're probably just over 50% worn.

    How do the rotors look?
    If they're trashed [lack of use can make them pretty rusty on the inner surface] you might need brakes sooner.
