mini HDMI would be awesome :x:

or just a multiout cable to component..

the SD video out is basically worthless unless you're connected to a 6" screen. the pics don't even look similar at SD res.

or if they weren't gonna upgrade it, I wish they'd just take it out and put something useful in.

looks like its a ways off since thier HD camcorders are still outragous priced

At 1.5 Gigabits per second, the uncompressed output of the camcorder’s HD-SDI terminal surpasses all available data rates for video production

What the hell does HDMI video out on a DSLR have to do with an HD camcorder? Nothing. The video output is just for viewing images.

Then they should buy a camcorder.

I was just saying I don't think Canon DSLRs lacking an HDMI video output has anything to do with the price of their HD camcorders.

I've only ever used it for one reason, but I've used it for that reason quite a few times.

have pics on cam to show to family members.. either recent pics or older ones.. when I'm not at home.

all my shit is networked and I can display anything on my tv through my 360, but not everyone has TV-size displays connected to their computers.
