? How long before you dont have to do hard core drill
Which service? And what type of drill? We need specifics here.
Depends on what your in for.
My OSUT was 16 weeks
year or so of tech school for me
then another 8 months of upgrade training at my first base
Marines are 13 weeks ... you're drilling the first day you get there ...
youll be drilling for the entire time there. i fuckin love drill though. i just wish you didnt stop doing it after bootcamp
Whats all the forms of training do you guys do down there?
Up here for Regular forces (Infantry) it's 13 weeks in Quebec doing Basic (BMQ), 13 weeks doing Soldier Qualification at whatever battle school you are assigned to (So say Wainwright, Alberta for PPCLI), and than 10-13 weeks of MOS training at the same Battle school... than add 7 weeks or more if you get in a Specialist role say Rappel master, Sniper, Para-Jumper, etc.
From start to finish you can be in training for upto 39+ weeks.
I'm kinda happy I'm going reserves for now
i still drill on a weekly basis out here in the Fleet in Okinawa ...
no shit?? what MOS? and why?? ive NEVER heard of it. Less of course your your part of SDT.
