I am now 3 months into my gym 5 days a week thing. I haven't gained any weight... but I definitely notice a lot of improvement. I have never really lifted hardcore until this summer.

I know it takes a LONG :eek3: time to gain muscle mass and strength... so I was just curious as to how long most of you have been lifting.

cliffs: how long have you been gettin' huge?

i think it was august of '04 for me, but my routines were pretty whack. didn't start reading up on nutrition and routines until the past year and a half. definite difference when i started working out, and when i started to do the right things.

I'd say lifting for 2 years with no knowledge and no understanding of what the hell I was doing, and 2 years of doing things right. 4 years collectively.

    That's all?

I've been lifting on and off since I was 14 though more consistent since 1999.
Though most of the time, maintaining and spinning my wheels.

    here's my whole lifting history...

    2-3 months in HS
    2-3 months in college
very long break with smoking, binge drinking, pizza everyday
started back up around june/july 05 to now
2-3 month break after PCL surgery on jan 07

everyone who knows me IRL are very impressed... myself mostly how i can turn my life around and make this change...

best of all, some are following my steps to better themselves...
