I can't import my T2i files into Lightroom or Photoshop because it can't read them. So I'm stuck using the Canon software which blows.

The video this shoots is pretty sweet for the price. And the new LCD interface is very clean & easy to navigate.

I had the 7D for nearly three months before the updates. But, there is no definitive length of time you need to to wait after a product launches. It's more on a release schedule from adobe for ACR, which I believe should be coming soon.

Isn't there a kind of work around where you can batch process the .CR2's to .DNG's?

That might work temporarily, a pain yes,but might help ya.

It's Canon's new CR2 used with a few newer cameras. It just doesn't look like it's supported yet.

So either I use the Canon utility or convert them for LR use by using the utility to save as 16bit tiffs.
